Elizabeth joined the program in 2020, and is a Presidential Fellowship recipient in the department of Sociology. She received her BA in sociology with a minor in education from Tufts University in 2020.

She has conducted research on schools and political engagement, gender and interactions, and student organizations that foster political activism. Her dissertation explores the growing movement around challenging or censoring books in schools and public libraries. She was a Graduate Justice Fellow at the Center for Social Concerns, and her research interests include social movements, gender, and education.
