Pace Ward is a member of the 2020 cohort and a recipient of the Presidential Fellowship in the Department of Sociology. He received his MA in Sociology from the University of Mississippi in 2020.

He has conducted ethnographic research on Southern evangelical Christian identities in interaction, and his current research focuses on evangelicals' support for anti-LGBTQ+ religious liberty legislation.
