Profile

Juliette (Yunjing) Ni joined the Department of Sociology in 2023.

She graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology (2019) and an M.S. in Social Psychology (2020).

Her research interests are situated at the intersections of social movements and the Sociology of Gender. She wants to understand feminism movements in social media and how these movements help to promote female participation in general political issues in East Asia. 

Juliette is a recipient of the University Presidential Fellowship and Kellogg Institute Ph.D. Fellowship.
