En-Ya Tsai joined the cohort in 2023. Her scholarly pursuits encompass the confluence of the sociology of religion, the right-wing gender movement, and transnational development within the context of the Global South. Throughout the course of her doctoral studies, she aspires to delve into an investigation concerning the transnational Evangelical movement initiated by Chinese Christians originating from the Global North and extending into the Global South. En-Ya Tsai obtained her Bachelor's degree from the Department of Humanities and Social Science at National Tsing-Hua University, subsequently attaining a master's degree from the Department of Sociology at National Taiwan University. Her master thesis focuses on the congregational-mobilizing mechanisms of a megachurch in Taiwan through fieldwork and ethnographical method.
