Profile

Clare joined the Department of Sociology in 2023 and is a recipient of the Presidential Fellowship. She holds a BA in Political Science and History from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (2021) and a MA in Peace and Justice from the University of San Diego (2023).
 
Her research interests are situated at the intersections of social movements, religion, and transnational sociology. She is especially interested in studying how civil society organizations in unique contexts procure funding from foreign donors.
