Dr. Hollie Nyseth Brehm is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminology at The Ohio State University. Her work examines why and how genocides happen and how countries rebuild in the aftermath. Nyseth Brehm is the Principal Investigator of two grants from the U.S. National Science Foundation, and she serves on a U.S. atrocity prevention task force. She is currently working on a book manuscript at the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study.
