The University hosts the 8th annual conference of the Sociology of Development section of the American Sociological Association. The conference will be held on October 17-19 with the theme “Development in Dialogue: Engaging Practitioners and Other Disciplines.”

Co-sponsored by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, Keough School of Global Affairs, the Ford Program in Human Development & Solidarity, the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, the Eck Institute for Global Health, the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, Department of Sociology, and Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts.
