Advising Night Pizza Party for Spring 2010 registration
Registration for Spring 2010 begins on November 16th!! The Sociology Department’s Advising Night Pizza Party will be held on Wednesday, November 4, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, in 824 Flanner Hall. Mark your calendars now!! More information will be available after break week.
NEW COACHING EDUCATION PROGRAM AVAILABLE HERE AT ND, FOR COURSE CREDIT!
What is it?The Coaching Education Program prepares students for coaching at the youthsport and high school levels in public and private school athletic programs aswell as in community run programs. Through the three courses in the CoachingEducation Program, students will learn about the philosophical, physical, social,medical, and psychological elements of coaching. The coaching practicumcourse, ESS 35608, will give students real-life coaching experience in localschools. Upon completion of the three courses, students will be well prepared totake the national coaching certification test through the American SportEducation Program (ASEP).The Coaching Education Program is offered through a collaboration of theDepartment of Physical Education, the Play Like A Champion Today™ Programin the Institute for Educational Initiatives, and the ESS Minor (EducationSchooling and Society).Conferences
