David received his MA in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2008), with a certificate specialization in International Human Rights & Diversity. He has also completed PhD coursework in political science and sociology from the University of California, Riverside. He is primarily interested in the intersections of state violence and social resistance, with a focus on indigenous peoples both in the United States and across the globe.
