Profile
Seymour graduated summa cum laude from Hope College in 2004 with a B.A. in sociology and communication. His M.A. thesis, completed in April 2008, examines local option alcohol prohibition in U.S. counties in 1980 and 2000.
In addition to continuing research on policy diffusion, he is interested in the areas of cultural sociology and stratification. His research for Mike Welch has primarily focused on variation in hate crime reporting.
