ROBERTO RIVERA is back in ND after doing field work in the Philippines for his dissertation on the social mobilization potential of Catholic Charismatic groups. He presented a paper featuring tentative findings and conclusions from his research at the Association for the Sociology of Religion convention last August. He is also a recipient this year of a Kellogg Center Dissertation Fellowship.
