Bada's latest publication is Invisible No More. Mexican Migrant Civic Participation in the United States, co-edited with Jonathan Fox and Andrew Selee, published by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars-University of California, Santa Cruz. 2006.
Profile
Bada's research interests focus on transnational communities, race relations, migration and development, absentee voting rights for migrants, labor rights of undocumented workers, and migrant-led grassroots organizations. Bada's work on Mexican Hometown Associations has been published by the Americas Program of the International Relations Center (IRC), PBS, and in the book Diáspora Michoacana, published by El Colegio de Michoacán.
