Profile
Richard A. Lamanna is Associate Professor Emeritus. His areas of interest include urban sociology, race and ethnic relations, and public policy. Recent and current topics of research include residential segregation in American cities, racial discrimination in the housing market, and the distribution of poverty in metropolitan areas. His co-authored book, The Search for Common Ground: What Unites and Divides Catholic Americans, won the National Conference of Catechetical Leadership 1998 Award for Excellence in Research.
